Honestly, Ayres Hall and the grounds around it is one of the nicest venues of an SEC campus.
Sorry,though,but its hard to top LSU with all of the oaks and Spanish Moss trees.

Very nice. That's why its insane for anyone to proclaim another SEC campus is "ugly". No SEC school is a commuter school that took over a K-Mart. All schools have some dingy areas, but most of each school's campus is very nice.

However, I do agree with most of what you said about BR and LSU. LSU's main frick-up was putting a modern Middleton Library bldg. smack dab in the middle of the Quad.

LSU's style of architecture is Italian Renaissance. This is a far cry from Mexican. The Oaks are invaluable as are the Indian Mounds on the campus.
