Why not? Explain. This is since 1992, last I checked, the West was pretty much dogshit until Chavis became befuddled by the QB draw in the 2001 SECCG

Wut?
The SECW has the best team in the SEC in ‘92, ‘93 and ‘99, during the East’s most dominant run. The East was 7-2 over the West in SECCG, with the league’s best team not participating in 1993.
Not necessarily “dog shite”, just a decent gap of mediocrity due to 2 of the 3 best programs being riddled with NCAA penalties.
