I guarentee he has more SEC experience than you have LSU Team Trainor experience.

I understand some people on here can’t pick up some tv if their aluminum foil isn’t just right on their antenna, but Moorhead was the 2016 Offensive Coordinator of the year and his 16 offense broke the record for passing yards, total yards, and points scored at Penn State.
I didn't know Penn State is in the SEC.
0 SEC experience is going to play a role no matter how you spin it. I'm not saying he will do poor, but just look at his recruiting tactics so far.

The only thing I would question is how much was Franklin letting him do. I know he specializes in RPO iirc, but we all know Franklin and he has some stuff up there. Penn State is a bit different than Mississippi State. Not a knock, but it's true. Way more talent that most of us bottom programs would love to have. Pennsylvania also iirc has a pretty decent crop of players than what you'd think. Then they get the left overs from Ohio State, Michigan and MSU. Also, I know what he did at Fordham, and without taking away anything from him, I don't consider that anything near being a coach in the SEC West. Lots of moves this off-season.
We shall see soon though I think I saw kickoff is less than 80 days. I'm excited to see how all these new guys perform. I'm a bit hesitant on Morris, but I think he has the tools that he needs to be in games. Again, don't know yet, but he will either hit his projection or won't. I think I saw you guys are supposed to be around 7-9 wins.

He managed to get the #1 player in Missouri this year tho
you know he went to ill bc you guys have a coach who is pretty much his foster dad, right?
Not because he wanted to play football for the great state of illinois

OP didn’t say anything about the SEC. And some of us are aware of other teams outside of the southeast. He might as well have said “Hey! Who else doesn’t know much about college football?!”
And his recruiting tactics? They are a lot better than the past under Mullen for damn sure. Currently sitting at 13th National isn’t to bad.

JoMo is recruiting just fine.

Penn State offense was terrible before JoMo got there. That offense was all JoMo - completely turned it around.

We have the 13th ranked class in the country and 5 four stars already. At Mississippi State where according to this board it is impossible to recruit to. It seems those tactics are working.

I like State. i appreciate the grimy grinders... yet, they hired a fat finesse guy. Hopefully they wake up quick. Their rival is down right now- they need to be makin hay not going backwards.
