What, you don't think Aeris Williams can match that production? Or open up a defense the way Barkley's presence can?

I'm sure that Fitzgerald's passing will help open things up for the RBs

Maybe you currently have zero other active accounts.

But I doubt that. Any other fanbase and I would doubt you're even a real fan of the team, but State fans are a special breed (inbreed that is)

You can keep thinking that. But you're wrong.

it COULD be Moorehead is a genius, but, it's much more likely imo that he's just decent and Barkley as well as McSorley were just that good. We'll see , I guess. I don't blame them for hoping for the best, i guess.

I honestly think Mullen should have stayed, though. i dont think he'll win any rings at florida and whet he built at State will likely erode now. Kinda sad.

Or, Moorehead could be the truth and take over the league.....

Bro, don't you know that Moorehead went 4-0 against Patriot League powerhouses Columbia AND Georgetown? Better start putting some respect on that name!

It's just the thought of having

Alabama - Very good
Auburn - very good
A&M - paying lots of money to be good
LSU - a talented squad missing a good
head coach
Arky - surley we can do better going
faster and being in better shape
than Bert
OM - Will have a chance to get a good
coach soon, but Matt Luke beat
y'all last year with Mullen.

Then, you have Joe Moorhead who has never been a head coach at this level (Morris HC @ SMU is more experience than Joe HC @Fordham) coming into the most difficult division with THE best taksnr in the country on those other teams.

You don't always have a hard schedule at State, it has been getting better, and I think the hype gets a little over inflated.

Again, not a flame against you guys, but the most success has came recent. There are a few other advantages state has currently that I think have benifitted them, but not getting in to that this late.

Don't take this the wrong way State fans, just an outsiders observation

By hiring his completely unqualified father to coach TE...

You're not wrong by any means and it's truly sad. This state (Illinois) is fricked and it really does affect everything.

That doesn't scream National Championship to you like it does State fans?

What about when I tell you about the star QB that can't complete even half his passes against any defenses worth a shite? But hey, at least he can run...well, at least we hope he still can after that devastating ankle injury.

They have some good defensive players too. Maybe not the most talented across the whole starting 11, but never underestimate a unit with good leadership. And State has the best leader of all on defense, just look at how well he treats the women around him

I miss the days of Juice Williams/Rashard Mendenhall/ and Arrelious Benn on the football field, and Dee Brown and Deron Williams on the court

You'd think they'd be better despite having one of the ugliest football uniforms in the P5

Only imagine if every mistake you've ever made followed you?

Not defending what he did but people frick up some times. He has been nothing buy a model SA and leaders since then. I don't understand why you have such a hard-on for state all the time.

I was in high school during the 04-05 season. Man that was such an amazing season and team. Can remember in my head as if it were yesterday.

He didn't shop lift or get drunk and wreck a car like a normal HS kid.

He made a deliberate decision to bend over a girl who was already on the ground, beaten, and not fighting back, and to punch her 20 times in the face.

Joe Mixon threw one punch against a girl who was hitting him in the face and he was suspended an entire year and is still vilified (rightfully so) over his incident.

Jeffery Simmons was 100× more of a thug POS in his incident but you can't even bring it up because State fans cry about you being a meany to poor victim Jeff Simmons

Where was this halfway rational mindset for $wag Kelly? All he did was drop the worst rap song of all time and say some really stupid shite when he was drunk

Based on what? I mean, just Curious. State your case. Because it’s definitely not a review and comparison of resumes prior to getting the job at MSU.

And Moorhead is inarguably recruiting better than Mullen in his first year at this point than Mullen did in ANY of his years at this point.
