Both teams are legit. MSU is a more complete team, but A&M is dangerously unconventional. Their game will be very good.

A&M's defense may not be as good as State's, so I will give the Dawgs the edge vs Alabama.

I'm going with A&M only because it follows LSU - not knowing the energy or emotion drain that the game could have, how banged up afterwards. If it is tight for 4 quarters, hard fought with extra bumps and bruises - that would play in A&M's favor. Not saying this Saturday night is automatic, just my thoughts on the one that concerns me most we I looked at our schedule.

Forgot about it being right after the LSU game.

Slight edge to A&M. Bama won't be able to get up nearly as high for the A&M game coming off the LSU game.

Texas A&M. Third in a tough 3 game stretch, right after trip to LSU. Offense that maybe a little tougher to prepare for in one week.

A guy on our team I talked with was talking about the rest of the season and made the comment

"We could pull out wins against A&M and Georgia if we play dominate football and execute."

"What about Bama" - Me

"You're fricking kidding right?"

FWIW I think JFF is a great qb. He's just young and had a learning experience against LSU.

Big time learning experience. I just like to have fun with all the JFF stuff. At the end of the day, he's still a freshman with a ways to go to compete week in and week out, and he'll take his lumps this season and probably next

Okay, here is my non-Aggie-biased take:

A&M, but hear me out.

State will enter the game playing a much tougher team than they have seen all year. It will be a shock and difficult to keep under control at first. They will let Bama get an early lead that they can never make up. Game ends 28-21, Bama.

A&M will play Bama A LOT like the LSU game. A&M's defense will be just good enough to prevent a route, but the offense will struggle just like against LSU. The game will be tied 14-14 at halftime, but Bama's depth will wear A&M down. The game ends 28-21 Bama.

The only reason A&M is more likely to win is because the team tends to play well early and will have a chance to win late in the game, whereas State will be playing from behind and run out of time.

Whether or not A&M or State is the better team State will play a better game against Bama. State's offense isn't nearly as flashy or explosive but A&M turns over the ball far too much. State also has a much better defense(which is no discredit to Demonman Moore) and is better equipped to deal with Bama's offense. Look at the differences between last years Albama-Arky game and last years Alabama-State game. Bama crushes teams that thrive on offense.

Why is State's defense considered good? We have a junior that will get drafted higher than that Carlton Banks guy.
