WOW, ok I officially feel bad for Moo St fans, I thought at the beginning the guy was gonna cry when he started talking about time away from family to do the job.

It got worse. He was pissed because his family heard fans saying he sucked. He gets paid to prepare men to play a kids game. If he doesn’t want his family subjected to it......do better.

You need a blue collar coach that as the enthusiasm of Mullen but the intelligence in the game that can recruit. Fleck is a blue collar, row the boat kinda guy and he will take you back to the top.

I actually don't think he sucks. I think he doesnt fit at MSU. Could see him busting a NY6 game at a Group of 5 school or winning an FCS championship. Not the kind of coach that is going to take a historical loser to new heights.
2-6 in games that he is favored 10 points or less. That's coaching.

Certainly unfortunate, but how has he not prepared his family for that possibility? I think most HS coaches prepare their family for the likelihood they'll hear disparaging remarks. Sounds like he wasn't prepared to be a head coach at all much less in the SEC.

Brett Beilma coming to the SEC had nothing to do with him thinking he could handle it. He was frustrated at Wisconsin because his coaching staff was poached every year and Wisconsin’s Board of Governors wouldn’t pay those assistants to stay. Arkansas promised him he wouldn’t have to deal with that.

You get a whole lot of money to do absolutely nothing if you get fired as a head coach. It’s basically a reward for doing badly.
If I was fired as a football coach, I’d enjoy my buyout for 2 years, and then work for ESPN. ESPN pays $500,000 a year to work for about 14 days. Awesome.
