Do MSU fans feel the same way?

Excuse after excuse after excuse. And to say that fans get to "go to work, school, etc." while it "festers" for himself and the program. It festers for EVERYONE!

That was one of the most pathetic showings of a "head coach" I've ever seen...

He was desperately looking for sympathy.

Moorhead is a giant, gaping pussy. Thus:

Although I thought it was a solid hire at the time, my major concern was fit. SEC is a different animal and sometimes fit is more important than X and O.

As much as O was criticized as the hire for LSU, you can't argue with the way he has managed the program and he understands LA and has been a good fit for this program.

That guy was just not ready for this. At all.

Agree - O may not have been successful at it in Oxford, but he learned how the beast works. And then he was with Lane at Tennessee for a year with his hands in it. And he was an interim at USC and at LSU. And to his credit he was humble enough to learn from it and make changes.

He understood what he was jumping in to, whether or not he had the answers to be successful or not (it appears he did).

He had no idea what he was getting into nor did he have any understanding of the South.

He can't whine and take millions in salary from a university in the poorest state in the country.

He is WAY over his head. MSU fans will pay for his education in SEC football.

It would not surprise me if he quits.

He said “it takes time to build.” That’s a laugh. Apparently it only takes a season and half to destroy.

like there was anything to build. Dan Mullen built the goddamned house all Joe had to do was remodel. Instead he tore it down

I watched the "SEC Inside" on State from the week of the Kentucky game. You could just tell his entire shtick was canned phrases said really fast.

It was incredibly Butch Jones like, to be honest.

State fans have to make the AD feel pressure on his job.

As a sentimental guy, I feel his pain. I can’t imagine the stress and the guilt. I’m sure he wants to win and works hard at it. But it’s like the guy above said, he’s well compensated for assuming that risk.

People think I am kidding when I say he is the worst coach in the conference. His team is literally on fricking twitter at halftime. He has NO control

When a HC loses control & respect from his team you may as well pull the plug.
We had this with Dubose in 2000.

I watched it this morning and had the same thought. It seemed like he might cry at one point.

I actually felt sorry for him when he talked about his daughter crying and fans yelling that he sucks in front of her.

I imagine some of our current SEC HC's can't wait to get canned & either take a year off from coaching or be in the background next year as an assistant.
