Also, they don't just rank these kids because they have nothing better to do

Wait, do star ratings matter or not? I'm confused. Do they just matter when you get a highly rated commit? The rest will be coached to 4 and 5 stars?

And those guys are now our bookend all-american tackles.

Hmm, so what you're saying is our guy's trial-by-fire out of necessity this season might pay big dividends for us in a year or two? That was really the only point I was trying to make on here. yes its less than ideal for right now and could make it rough for us at times in certain SEC games early on, but at least by year's end there will be really nothing in the world the kid hasn't seen or had to deal with playing experience wise.

By the way Mizzou's second string tight end just broke his finger after the first stringer has been sitting out with a knee injury. We may be the designated MASH unit of the SEC this year it seems.

Of course, SEC fans will all later claim that Mizzou's injuries were due to the "wear and tear of the SEC schedule" and us "not being ready for the physicality" and so on....never mind that all our injuries are actually taking place in frickin' fall camp.

Why would anyone say your injuries were due to SEC play when they happened in the pre-season?

That makes no sense. You'll get injuries during SEC play. Every team does.

Franklin's future labral tears will be due to SEC play.

These OL injuries will just expedite that.

Two elements in play

1) My post was generally dripping in sarcasm

2) However, message boards like the Rant being what they are, there will indeed be at least a small percentage of posters who won't know Mizzou has any injury issues until their own team actually plays us, and they will not bother to further research the situation and just assume "yep the SEC wore their guys down just like we though it would, told ya so". Not everyone will do that but its a given that at least a few will.

Ditto for Tyler Wilson's future vaginal tears.

Actually the true freshman OL for Mizzou that I'm talking about, Evan Boehm, was a higher ranked recruit than 5 of 8 offensive linemen on Auburn's depth chart that I see. But don't let facts like that get in your way.

It's not that we don't think the True Fresh is on SEC level quality player, the problem for you losing the 2 OL is gonna be depth (along with inexperience). He will definatly have growing pains being thrown in the fire, but the bigger issue will be in the 4th quarter against Georgia when their big DL will be rotating 2 or 3 deep of fresh guys and your OL is sucking wind. That's the real issue here.

True FR Evan Boehm will likely replace Ruth in the starting lineup.

UGA is probably gonna have Theus on the field this year. How does Boehm compare to Theus?

Theus was the no. 1 ranked tackle coming out last year.

If you were referring to my threads about your team and where they were ranked, well, that's all I have to start from since analyzing film on all your players is impossible.

Joke Gator as your posts which I enjoyed are based solely on stars. Remember as well that stars are subjective it is common for the amount and schools that offer a kid can effect his stars as well.
