No issues with OU. Texas, well, I want them put in the most impossible division/pod/etc.

Is there a way to create a Bama/Texas/Bama/Bama pod for just Texas in football with crossovers with OU and Georgia?

They talked a lot of shite when we left. Their AD took some shots at Mizzou when we came to the SEC.

So, I would hold my nose at Texas, but probably be ok with it. We recruited well in Texas in the Big12.

Side note: it makes me laugh thinking of kansas out there twisting in the wind right now.

Let them in. I would much rather play OU and Texas every year instead of Miss State, Kentucky, SCAR, etc.

Nothing against those schools, but Norman is 3 hours away and everyone knows our history with Texas.

Never. The people under 40 just have forgotten what shitstains of conference partners the Longhorns are.

I want to add Texas.

They won’t be able to run this conference like they did the SWC that was all Texas schools and Arkansas

Texas and Oklahoma would be worth the trouble getting season tickets for.

Arkansas has no history with OU. Sorry.

We've never been in a league with OU**. We rarely play OU, and almost always in a random bowl game every 10-12 years.

Texas, don't care. Bring it.

**I just hate their fans, because we interact with all the E. Oklahoma trash people.

Austin, OKC and Tulsa would instantly be some of the nicer big towns in the league. Sorry, its true.

There’s a difference in being in a conference with Texas where every school is from Texas vs Arkansas.

And a conference that’s made up up multiple states where everyone is mostly equal. We beat Texas the last time we played them, we are going to beat them this year, and for many years to come.

Texas football today isn’t the same team it was when Mack Brown was around. They have 1 ten win season in a decade, in a crappy Big 12

Fundamentally, we have seen there isn't; ask Nebraska how their Texas-with-non-Texas counterweights went.

Poorly.

I think if it goes pods, you put A&M, Texas, Mizzou and Arky in a pod. Texas would hate that. Hate it.

Why would a Texas fan hate that? I don’t hate it. I assume this might mean that we wouldn’t play Oklahoma each year? Well if that is the case, then we would just agree to play them in Dallas as an OOC game. Either way, that game is happening.

im for it. both are great additions for football and basketball from a competitive standpoint. It also means more great games to watch every saturday. OU is a definite take. texas always seems to be up to some nonsense, but i dont really care about that anymore. i just want to enjoy watching the games.

also, if cfb does move to a 12 team playoff, having the sec lap the field and getting 4-6 teams into the postseason every year would help mizzou's chances of making it

Bring 'em both in because the SEC will be dominate. But I could never vote for texass. I stand with our A&M brothers and I will never trust texass. It's not a question of if but when will texass execute their power play on the SEC.
