Is there any thing you miss from the Big 12 (other than maybe your rivalry with Texas and Kansas)? Any good road trips, traditions, stadiums, games, college towns, etc?

They probably miss the inferior opponents and better records.

For A&M it would be there game against Texas. Hope that comes back someday in the future.

I could see Colorado for the views alone...

..but Nebraska? As an LSU fan, the concept of a "dry campus' and having to tailgate off campus would be reason enough to cross that one off my list...

LSU asks a question about A&M then answers it. Doesn't get more agsessed than that.

Not a Big 12 homer or anything but A&M has been way more successful in the SEC than they were in the Big 12.

A&M last 3 years in Big 12

2009: 6-7 (3-5) Independence Bowl loss
2010: 9-4 (6-2) Cotton Bowl loss
2011: 7-6 (4-5) Bowl win

A&M first 3 years in the SEC

2012: 11-2 (6-2) Cotton Bowl victory and Heisman Trophy winner
2013: 9-4 (4-4) Chick-Fil-A Bowl victory
2014: 8-5 (3-5) Liberty Bowl victory

The distance of away games. Atmospheres are much better now so it evens out.

Right now both are too glad to be in a stable and profitable league. They don't MISS anything.

That will, however, change.

Give it a few more years and the Aggies will be drooling at the chance to hand Texas a beat down. Mizzou will start longing for the days of putting the boots to Kansas.

It will take some time to get over the toxic final years both teams had in the Big 12, but sooner or later the urge to beat up on their rivals will pop up.
