I give estimates to Californians moving to Missouri on almost a weekly basis.

I’m guessing they’re choosing to move here because it’s just so awful...

Your own link mentions how Arkansas is way more of a forgettable state lmao.

That would require critical thinking but what would you expect from a dipstick from Arkansas.

The South coast isn't like that.

Have you ever been to Little Rock? This is a bit the pot calling the kettle black.

Missouri is in my sales territory, and I think pretty highly of it. I could live there I would suppose. I know there's parts of St Louis that's very rough but most of it is really cool. Ozarks, Branson area, KC (on the outskirts is awesome and all of the rural area is pretty conservative. That's a plus.

I never thought I'd end up in Missouri, avoided Leonard Wood like the plague when I was in the Army. But I'm older now, I don't need a fancy nightlife, I'm more happy sitting on the back deck on a cool morning watching the fog come thru the valleys between the hills. Not a fan of KC or St Louis, but once you get out of the cities and into the Ozarks, there are not many places as beautiful, especially when you take into account cost of living.

I live 20 minutes north of Leonard Wood and that couldn't be further from the truth unless you are the type that doesn't like the outdoors. The area is surrounded by great hiking, camping, hunting and kayaking. Amazing fishing on rivers like the Gasconade, Big Piney and Little Piney. Plus its just a 45 minute trip up to the lake if you want a nice night out for dinner

This is false. It’s the armpit, NOLA is the butthole.

Mizzou beats Arky as a place to live because Mizzou is getting less liberal and Arky gave us the Clinton murder family. Also, I think the overall tax burden is better in most of Mizzou than most of Arky.

In what, 300 years from now? Your state say a growth of 3.3% this past decade, we saw 2.8%, that'll take a while to reach us...

You are right about that, as much as I loved Florida the price of living was just getting too high even without a state income tax. Originally from Texas and whenever somebody from there asks why I’d move to Missouri, I tell them that Missouri is more Texas than Texas thinks it is nowadays

I'd shite on Missouri, but I'm from West Virginia. They at least have that.
