That's what quitters do. I would fight like hell to avoid that in the future. I don't remember who were the 4 in front of them right now but remember thinking that it was probably right if you were talking about the 4 best teams. Please tell me it wasn't the year Georgia beat TCU like 60-7.

Considering that FSU is still getting made fun of for that historically bad arse beating, yeah, I’d shoot to adopt that outlook moving forward also.

Yes, it does suck that FSU was shafted out of the playoffs in 2023, even though it seems pretty obvious that they were not one of the best 4 teams in the country.

However, the idea that being left out in 2023 excuses the following 3 seasons is weak sauce to say the least, and if I were an FSU fan that wouldn't fly with me.

Fortunately it would appear that despite his time at FSU Smart has overcome the cowardice that is inherent in most things associated with the Florida Teachers College. His time at UGA was no doubt responsible for his having the moral and ethical grounding that is lacking in most people associated with FSU that allowed him to escape unscathed.

I never said Nebraska was over rated. I correctly and factually pointed out that they never played anyone one in the regular season and there success was due to that verifiable fact. They weren't over rated, they simply played nobody. They were better than the teams they played in the regular season and healthier than the teams they played in the post season due to having played a schedule eerily akin to a high school schedule in the south....

Serious question - and these years run together anymore, but did Norvell build that 13-0 team or did he inherit it? I don't remember how long he had been there when the 13-0 team happened.
