So nice having a head coach that is competent...really hard watching Leach at media days...rambles and rambles

in reality, Leach was probably the smartest person in the room at the SEC media days. Dude has a law degree from Pepperdine, and a brilliant air-raid offensive mind. With an elite QB surrounded by complimentary players, the Pirate could win a NC. Dude went 11-2 with Grahm Harrell and Gardner Minshew.

I agree 100% and enjoy his quirkiness. A cross country road trip with Bill Walton, Mike Leach, and a pound of mushrooms would be epic

He used to keep a life-sized pirate in his office, with several swords on the walls. Said to party pretty hard when the off season allows him to go down to his place in Key West.

Didn't say the guy isn't smart and so glad he knows history and everything else...just saying it's nice not having to listen to that every week as my football coach (Les) ...but you guys are right we would definitely be in better shape with him as a head coach...can teach our players so much history and law ??
