Leach is a great coach. The history speaks for himself. What he did with Miss State through all this to best #1 LSU is pretty awesome.

It's good to be happy, he's a good coach for sure.
Just remember - he's known for winning games like this and then turning around and losing to Vanderbilt (Portland State).

I knew y’all had made a great hire the man has won everywhere he’s been why would state be any different l. The fact that 90% of our fan base turned their nose up at a man who has done nothing but churn out 8-9 win seasons at dumpster fire programs told me all o needed to know about the Razorback fan base and why we will probably never be successful. We put other priorities above winning

Leach and Kiffin were both fantastic hires, the right hires. I was impressed by both MSST and Ole Miss today. Great games.

Ditto, they were my favorites for FSU. But both were too smart to be interested probably.

Initially they said that Mike Leach was seriously considering the FSU job (I think FSU passed on him), and I was thinking to myself: Well that fricking sucks.
FSU with a guy who can develop Quarterbacks and has Florida Speed? It's a wrap.
I actually wanted him for Florida before we hired Mullen, I've been following him for a while.
Kiffin is also highly underrated, I'm not sure FSU wanted the...controversy, though. The guy does tend to call a ton of attention to himself.

Auburn could have hired Leach before they brought in Gus Bus. That would have been a large pill to swallow. Some times you get lucky.
