That's 10-15 minutes before discovery, then 10-15 minutes minimum before EMS arrival. You're looking at at best case of 20-30 minutes before blood flow to the brain is restored. We all want good news, but his doesn't contradict earlier reports with very bad news. It largely confirms them.
I think we could all take a deep breath and wait for legit info.

Once the shock wears off... MSU has a daunting situation, searching for an AD and a head coach...
What about Mullens? He can provide some stability as a head coach. The thing in Florida didn't work for him, but he was pretty successful at MSU.
80+pages of Leach speculation... maybe refreshing to speculate on something else? Sorry if this offends...

I'm thinking you promote the interim for a year, get your AD situation sorted, and then re-assess

The confirmations are just he had a massive heart attack and is in critical condition and was moved to hospice type care

Idk if the vent post was 247 or confirmed by the clarion ledger

I think we can be pretty sure he’s being kept alive by machines

The complexities of human mind are still beyond our full comprehension, I had an aunt that was eaten up with cancer as a child so they didn’t treat her or tell her, of course she died,…92 years later. My grandmother had 98% total blockade of her arteries but too old and feeble for surgery so we gathered to say goodbye, and she died too, …6 years later. My friends wife is a quad and has been given last rites 4 times and is still alive now almost 20 years later. We are about to have the forth last Christmas for my father in law, although this one is probably his last. So until and if, we hear he is gone there is hope
A lot of it I think really depends on the individuals will to live. Like the story of my grandfather I posted. He was on a vent and unconscious after a bad wreck. Internal bleeding and bleeding on his brain. Banged up all over. Doctor gave him a low chance of surviving if taken off the vent. Family made the tough choice to put it in Gods hands and we took him off life support.
He walked out of the hospital under his own power with help of a walker 2 months later. He literally said he knew he was dying while unconscious but didn’t want to. Said he wanted to get out of there and enjoy a Big Mac and a cigarette so he focused on that and just taking one breath at a time as he healed. Anything is possible. I have to believe Leach wants to live and is fighting hard as he can

This entire situation has made me realize I need to get myself checked out extensively. I had a blood panel done a month or so ago and they said it looked good but now I want to get additional testing to make sure. My family doesn’t have the best history

Not sure our current players really fit Mullens offense tbh

There's no guarantee that it wasn't longer or shorter but going on experience again, family members tend to underestimate how long it's been since they last interacted with the person. A very common thing you hear is "he was snoring about 10 minutes ago." They think great, he was breathing. We think well, crap because those are called agonal respirations. They're triggered at the brain stem level and the patient's already in cardiac arrest.
So taking their estimate is probably ballpark best case and our body doesn't work like a light dimmer, it works like a switch. When we go into cardiac arrest, the blood flow stops cold.
I know the reporters are doing their jobs and I know we all desperately want a good outcome, but every report just checks another box on a list any EMS provider with just a few years of experience has seen many times. Keep praying, but just understand it's going to take a legitimate divine intervention (they do happen) for a good outcome.

Well if you call 5-7 working. And he had Anthony Dixon and a ton of other NFL talent on that team
