If the family will have to make some tough decisions in the coming days he isn’t stable. They can say stable and he could be on a vent.

Also to clear up some questions about helicopters and ambulances…I work on an ambulance, in Jackson, we don’t call helicopters ambulances. It’s a bird or simply a helicopter. Also depending on the weather they may have had to wait until they could fly or in some instances we transport by ground to the helicopter.

it's pretty obvious that is where the situation is at. This will not end well. We all need to pray for the family, friends, University, and football family now.
It is heart breaking. That being said, Coach made an impact on so many lives. He is loved by the college football masses. We should all have the honor of impacting so many lives with our time on earth. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. He was a great football coach. By all accounts, he was a better person.

You can be on a vent and stable. Stable means your vital signs are within normal limits.
You can also be brain dead and stable, and the family having to decide when to pull the plug. My brother had to make that decision for his 24 year old son.

I know you can be on a vent and be stable. But the general public doesn’t. They hear stable and not realize a machine is keeping them alive.
