I mean, this is a fair point. TV execs will jam 5 minutes of commercials into every clock stoppage they can.
I think he (and I) mean the running clock is fine--ONLY stop it for hydration and injury and require that TV not break away.

Americans complain in unison all the time about rules they don’t like and how they wish the nfl would change it
Why soccer fans are so scared to even fricking discuss a rule change is odd to me
An American guy on Twitter who has a decent following and is kinda new to soccer politely suggested that the whole "added stoppage time" thing is a little silly, and asked why they dont just stop the clock during the hydration breaks, goal celebrations, and injuries and end the match at 90 minutes and he was absolutely DESTROYED by every non-American in the thread.
"You Americans need to leave soccer alone"
"Americans hate things they didnt invent"
"There is nothing wrong with it".
"You are trying to turn it into a 4 hour game like college football"
I thought the guy had a point...but the world minus the US is ok with the vague timekeeping.

Sir, typically the violence that occurs at Sonic is very much sensible and warranted.

I learned a good lesson about quality vodka in my 20's when I was out and tried to save a few $$$ by requesting Taaka for my screwdrivers. The headache I had the next day was more brutal than any one I had ever had.

re: So the World Cup is more diluted this year right?

Its diluted but not as much as you would think. The difference between the 32nd and 48th ranked team in the tourney isnt very big and changes match to match much like college basketball or football
Without expansion, we likely wouldn't have gotten to witness Tunisia shite-cannong their coach after the first match, so there is that.
I think by the time they get to the round of 16 it will look about like it would have looked before.
