Someone outside the medical field surely wouldn't call an air evac an 'ambulance' but it seems as though it's been reported 900 times that he was airlifted. No reason to beat a dead horse.

Ffs, I was just trying to offer some info about the state of his condition because if he were taken by ground transport, unless weather inhibited air transport, it's highly likely that his condition would be that serious unless he deteriorated AFTER his transport. You don't airlift someone that isn't in serious condition, just like you don't send someone that needs immediate intervention by ground unless there's no air available.

I’m not saying you’re wrong at all because you’re not but my brother died a few years ago in the middle of the night. Just the immediate family knew. We were going to wait until morning to call the rest of the family and close friends.
