but can you imagine Saban being ranked as low as 58th in recruiting even with this much time left in recruiting season?

Yes, I can, because Saban's recruiting classes in June for three straight years in the NIL era weren't great:

Next, you'll be white knighting for Ole Miss to "troll" LSU fans.

UGA fans will never forget losing consecutive games to Ed Orgeron by 20+

UGA has long moved on, but a lot of the LSU fans here can't seem to do the same, 7+ years later.

Keep going, you can try to ring a little more out of "1980" while you're at it

It's June. Half the kids in each class will end up somewhere else that is willing to bring a bigger bag.

Not sure if this is the case anymore, depending upon the state, the kids are able to and do sign NIL right off the bat. Don't think we will see as many flips as in the olden days.

what i find interesting about all this is how dependent Bama’s class is on one guy: Elijah Haven

for reference, if AU’s highest ranked recruit Myron Johnson-Cook (with a 94 score on the 247 rating scale) flipped, AU’s overall class ranking would be virtual unchanged, dropping from #8 to #9 on the Team Rankings (going from 240.79 to 234.95)

meanwhile, if Haven (98 rating) were to decommit, Bama’s overall score would plummet from 161.43 to 140.06 - dropping their ranking from its current #62 to #70, placing them as the 3rd lowest rated class in P4 (behind only Baylor and OK State)

Burrow completes Heisman coronation, LSU routs Georgia 37-10

How do you translate the phrase “put up or shut up” to Cajun French?

What I find interesting is that from 2021-2025 Auburn had top 20 recruiting classes every year, including back to back top 8 recruiting classes, and yet none of those guys experienced a single winning season at Auburn. Most of those higher ranked recruits are gone now and Auburn has South Florida’s roster.

Well I wouldve run along but you just had to lure me back in didnt you?

Again, if we're living in the football past, there are plenty of great choices for UGA fans. Some of them even come after 2019

LSU is on a 2-13 run against Bama right now but y'all really can't keep yourselves from talking shite??

Georgia is on a 2-4 run vs LSU and you're talking shite.

I hear you, but UGA is also on an 8-7 run if you use the same 15 game period (or 5-4 if we want to cherrypick).

Either way, if we follow the examples in this thread, UGA can lose 9 more & keep talking shite anyways

proof that above average talent + below average coaching = underperforming on the field

but then the last two seasons should have given you a crash course in that topic

maybe read the article you linked to, retard

quote:

Alabama brings a young team back in 2026, and so it simply doesn't make sense to spend big on a recruiting class that largely isn't expected to see the field in 2027.

quote:

"Won’t be a big group this fall,” DeBoer said last month at the SEC's spring meetings. “I think it will be much less than what we’ve had the last two seasons, but a lot of that is because we have retained well and brought in a group of transfers and don’t have many seniors.”

Alabama played in the SEC championship game AND made the CFP last season.

Auburn has never made the CFP, and their last SEC title game appearance was about a decade ago.

Auburn fans would kill for a season like Alabama had last year.

So, 15 games is the acceptable threshold for talking shite?

OP, why lower yourself to the level of all these other SEC Rant VGT (Virgin Geek Trolls) attention whores by taking a shot at another school.

Do better LSU'ers. Go post on the Tiger Rant if you need attention that bad.

As long as you've gone 2-13 or better in your last 15 you're allowed to talk shite. So y'all have at least a few more years or decades of dealing with it
