Al Borges' Career Record vs. Alabama as Offensive Coordinator:

UCLA 2000: 35-24
AUB 2004: 21-13
AUB 2005: 28-18
AUB 2006: 22-15
AUB 2007: 17-10

Only one win vs. a Saban coached team, however... and, from what I remember, only one really good defense -- 2005, Bama had a top 5 unit.

6-0 looks doubtfull.

Yep, 4 of those 5 against either a Mike Dubose or Shula coached team.

The '04 win was due to officials deciding the outcome.

good point... only one win as it related to the above list... 10-9 (IIRC)... Borges vs. Saban hasn't exactly led to an offensive explosion.

Alabama finished with more than 7 wins in one of those years, and that was with arguably our worst offense in that time; 2005 post Prothro but with Shula

Popular Alabama rhetoric: Miles won his National Championship with Saban's players.

Context: Miles won his National Title in his 3rd year.

Now I see you post this:

In response to the fact that Borges beat a Saban coached team in 2007. Yet in 2009 (Saban's 3rd year) he went undefeated with a National Title.

So Saban's talent in 2007 won a Title, but somehow, sh!tty talent won Saban his 1st title at Bama?

Does not compute.

Wasn't Saban a proponent of that rule?

This sounds a lot like "Saban has a history of losing to auburn" before he got to Tuscaloosa.

Michigan is also the "winningest" program in history. I'm sure those victories in the late 1800's will also play a factor.

Miles did win that title with a bunch of Saban's recruits.

And Saban won the '09 title with a bunch of Shula's recruits.

Context: Miles has yet to win a title with all of his own recruits.

Here go those LSU fans once again telling us what we always say, when none of us have actually said it.
