Lane offered 3.5 - 4 Million range. How would lsu fans feel about Simpson leading them in 2026?

Better than holding try-outs for current students

He had a great year considering it was his first year as a starting QB. He was tops in the SEC in passing TD, passing yards, etc.. even with a shitty run game.

NGL Ty Simpson was doing elite shite game after game early in the season. I remember watching him move guys with his eyes & just do all the small things that go into being a great QB. I praised him for his leadership after the UGA game when he was coaching up his teammates.

It's a shame what happened to him this year and I hope to see him find success.

He was and is a great young QB.

Once it was obvious Bama had no running game at all, ty looked worse than he is/was. He also got the run blitz quite often, without the worry of a teal run threat.

People blame DeBore but our big fat linemen could do ok with Normal pass protection....but soon everyone knew we had no run game and that made a big difference.

One of their posters called him “moist” on here.

Bama had no running game so therefore no play action pass game. Teams would run light boxes with two high safeties. Ty was at a disadvantage on nearly every drop back.

According to a source close to Simpson, Miami sent the Alabama quarterback an offer to be the highest-paid player in college football at $6.5 million. The Hurricanes' official offer started at $4 million and quickly ballooned to $5 million within minutes before reaching the current offer. Tennessee and Ole Miss, according to the source, offered Simpson $4 million. In 2025, Simpson's base salary at Alabama was $400,000, according to a source close to Simpson. It doubled to $800,000 with incentives.
