QB's need to be looking at which schools are spending money on the OL.

From D3. I dont think many will be successful trying to farm depth from D2/D3 QB ranks.

He’s just crying. Need to evaluate the right tier of QBs that can fit in your system. Kiffin almost got Demond Williams too before Washington boosters got all butthurt.

This is stupid. Plenty of QBs transfer to places that don’t always end up being the starter. Younger players are more likely to be ok with sitting a year behind someone and develop more (maybe not under the crappy OC Elko promoted), but they still want a chance to compete. A&M lost their backup QB from last season to become a backup QB at North Carolina. I am sure he was at least told he was going to be allowed to compete for the job at UNC.
Elko should have been looking for a potential starter, but they didn’t want to hurt Reed’s confidence by bringing in any true competition. A QB that needs to have his feelings be protected and be falsely inflated and that seemingly wouldn’t have been able to adapt to a new offense brought in by an experienced & quality OC doesn’t sound like much of a QB.

They also want to go places with more advanced offensive schemes and a place that they can improve their offensive IQs. A lot of QBs realize pro-ball probably isn't in their future, but coaching might be.

I don’t know if Clark has another year of eligibility. If so and he performs well; he will be offered more money to go elsewhere.
