Better team won tonight we looked passive. Jay working to see who he can trust once SEC play starts. I am no fan of week day games. But all teams need them.

I know and it was a good win while McNeese is a bad loss

Kent State is their conference defending champion and projected to go to the postseason. McNeese won 11 conference games last year

There is a huge story developing in Louisiana tonight. Sources in Lake Charles have confirmed that Jay Johnson’s agent reached out to McNeese State after the game. They are finalizing a contract for Jay to become the new first base coach at McNeese effective immediately. Sources say money was not the motivator for Johnson, he simply wanted to coach at a program with a winning tradition, indoor plumbing, and not have to dodge random gunfire on a daily basis. He will be taking most of the LSU roster with him.

Kent ST is much better than Mcneese, but losing a weekend series to an opponent of that caliber is almost always worse than a midweek game. Not that any of it really matters. If Tennessee goes on a tear the next 3 months no one gives a shite about a loss in Feb. Just like no one cares we got ten run ruled by Northwestern last year.

Speaking of which, McNeese State just listed a new auction on eBay - a brand new Bengal Tiger rug. There is no reserve, and the buy it now price is only $100 (plus $4.95 shipping and handling.)
