yet it held your vaunted O to 23 points. that is my point. Your O has struggled against good D's this year..........Clemson has a good D.

Yet Burrow completed 32-42 and LSU racked up 508 yards and 30 first downs. Two trips inside Auburn’s 5 yard line yielded 3 total points and another time we punted while in FG range. Conservative playcalling is the only thing that kept LSU from scoring 40 points.

Alabama didn't play a comparable schedule

They did play Auburn and LSU and beat both by 4+ tds. I hope you are not arguing Alabama was not more dominant than LSU

They played MSU in 2018 that had 3 1st rd draft picks and not MSU team that got their coach fired. Also played a UGA with actual skill players like Mecole Hardman.

They also played a OU team with Kyler Murray and the OU O-line that won the Joe Moore award. Not the Jalen Hurts(lol) OU team with only one Wr.

You are right Bama in 2018 did face much stiffer competition.

I dont really know anything about the schedules, but this statement is false:

If you extrapolate his stats from last year across the number of snaps Burrow had this year Tuas numbers are much better.

The thing about burrow is it doesn’t matter this year if you get pressure on him. You have to sack him and have to stop the run. Auburn did that and was still down 10 with a minute to go

Cannot really see it too well in the video but it was raining for much of that game.

In 2018? You won't see that argument from me based on the head to head.

We beat that same MSU team in the rain.

So did LSU. Beat them by double digits in TS with everyone betting against LSU.

So how hard was that schedule really?

We also didnt have marshall that day.

Marshall is just as good as jefferson and chase IMO.

Having 3 studs is waaaaay different than just 2

Tua proved that if you could get to him you could rattle him. He looked pretty bad against UGA then again looked pedestrian against clemson.

kind of crazy how leg and ankle injuries can do that to a qb

Maybe stop starting an injured quarterback then?

Just an idea.

You won’t get any LSU fan to agree to anything other than Joe is perfect and they are the best EVAR. I know this is essentially their board but GD they are obnoxious. It’s a very likable team but their fans do everything they can to make you not like them

And you're telling this to a Bama fan?

ETA let's be honest, those are the only two good D's you faced all year.

You leaving out Florida. Everyone on this board told us Florida’s defense was going to stop Joe and shut down LSU. We won by two touchdowns and it should have been three. I know you are dis’ing Florida because of your bias against them but saying their defense wasn’t good is being facetious.

Both Alabama and Florida are ranked ahead of Auburn in total defense and scoring defense.
Auburn is actually only one spot ahead of LSU in total defense.

This dude was just feeling clever as frick but didnt know what he was talking about.

Alabama had 443 yards of total offense in 44-16 but was completely shut down in the red zone 4 times ..

That d line isn’t gonna be playing in this game

Burrow will feast
LSU 2 plus TDs

I just did. State was right there, and gave up a cheap one with a blown coverage late in the second. Right after LSU clanks through a FG hitting the crossbar. MSU hung in for awhile.

LSU played that game without our starting LT and our best red zone weapon Marshall. Marshall led the NCAA in TDS before he got hurt and missed 4 games. Against State we kept stalling in redzone. Since getting Marshall back we’ve been getting better every weak. Peaking at the right time.
