Go rewatch the bama game. They tried to jam the receivers on several plays.

LSU also suspended their starting left tackle (Charles) before the game and the third best receiver (Marshall) was out for this game injured. Marshall is our go to in red zone situations. He's caught 12 touchdowns this season and has missed 3 games due to an injury.

Against a team you are that much better than, it should not matter. You want to go there? Tua was hurt our kicker was out and our two starting inside LB's were out for the season. See how that works? LSU fans won't give an inch on that one.

MSU had a good plan in the Red Zone, just admit it. They were not good enough to hang with LSU, but they did make a game of it for nearly a half.

Sure they had a good game plan. I'm just pointing out that the LSU team showing up on Monday is a different LSU team that showed up in Starkville in October.
If you don't think so, then not sure what else to tell you.
I'm just ready for the game to get here already.

That may be. The team you will be playing tomorrow night isn't the team you played in Starkville either. That's the entire point.

If they saw something watching the film, as they did against us, they have the players to make it hurt.

Damn.
LSU has faced 9 of the top 25 defensive play callers as ranked by SDS and none of them exploited this?
Damn.
Not even Kirby, Saban, or Grantham?
Just damn.

Honestly, I don't really think it matters one iota what clemson tries to do. They are going to lose by several touchdowns.

This is my prediction as well.

The LSU fanbase is getting quite cocky regarding this matchups but so has the Clemson faithful.

Most LSU fans watched in awe and couldn't believe what Clemson did to Bama last year.

We aren't shocked or surprised by their talent and coaching experience. Dabo and Venables are no joke and will not be taken lightly.

The difference this year is the d line Clemson is bringing into this game. They have some studs, but the dudes they brought last year got drafted first round for a reason.
If we can control the line of scrimmage, Burrow will have time to do his thing.

I'm more worried about LSU stopping Lawrence and that offense. I think most LSU fans are talking tough but are just as nervous as I am regarding this offense.
Lawrence's IT factor scares the shite out of me.
Should be a fun game.

False my arse. You scored 23 points against Auburn. If we have a competent QB that game, we win. You scored 37 against UGA. That is the two best D's you faced. That is averaging 30 points a game.

ETA let's be honest, those are the only two good D's you faced all year.

If you have a component QB that could have been more accurate, we would have had more interceptions, sucka. Foh with your stupid arse

Take the glasses off. You played two really good D's this year.....Auburn and UGA

Damn, that's funny that Florida gives up less yards and points per game than Auburn. So the only "two really good D's this year" we have faced pr UGA and UF?

I just know that damn Venables is sneaky as hell, and has put in a lot more time on this game than you think, given their schedule.

That easy schedule is a huge advantage. They probably start breaking down possible playoff opponents before their conference championship game, because they KNOW they are going to win. By that time they pretty much know who's who.
