And he's always been a bad actor in the movies, so it's no surprise he's a bad actor on the sidelines.

Careful now . . . I said he was a B List actor for the first half of his career once and got lit up by a strange set of fanboys that wander this site. They went as far as saying Failure to Launch with Terry Bradshaw was big time Hollywood gold.

I don’t mind MM on the sidelines. He is legit.

But who is that black woman always posing behind Sark on TV? Weird

His True Detective performance cancels out any shitty romcom he’s ever been in. I don’t know why people get so triggered by him, he’s weird, but he’s good people.

In the Delta Club at Mercedes Benz you can stand at the glass windows and watch the players, coach’s, trainers, etc. go through the tunnel to the locker room. It a good 50 yards of exposure. Watching him walking in with the team at half and back out was funny. I think he really feels like he is an essential part of the team on game day.

I have a little envy, for sure. The guy is massively successful and works hard to keep himself in great shape. Seems like a pretty good dude for an actor.

Surfer Dude was highly underrated. Heard good things about Greenlights. His best work was Dallas Buyers Club, though. Absolutely nailed what life is like for average UT fan.

MM knows about QB's.

Watching him walking in with the team at half and back out was funny. I think he really feels like he is an essential part of the team on game day.

They do refer to him or maybe he refers to himself as the Minister of Culture. Perhaps he is allowed to address the team in the lockerroom, give em some words of inspiration.

TBH, I have seen posts from UT fans who say they sometimes tire of his schtick.

But the truth is his presence on the UT sideline or with the team is not unique as other schools allow their almost famous alums to do the same thing. MM simply gets noticed more because his team plays a lot of big games.

Now I am intrigued by the black woman stalking Sark, I will keep an eye out for tonite.

can’t stand mm or anything texas longhorn. but, my son coached in the big 12 for several years. played in austin, i always was on the sideline during the games. teams went in from pregame and me and one of the chain crew were sitting on the bench drinking gatorade. a guy and 2 kids are walking towards us down the sideline. as they get closer the adult was mm. looked to have baby arms. when he walked by i said “what up trex? got no response however. chain guy spit out his gatorade.

I don’t think this made it on to the live broadcast, but they showed him on the big screen at Mercedes Benz a few minutes before the SECC game started, and the boos just erupted and blew up out of nowhere. The look on his face as he realized the boos were all for him was classic. frick that guy.

To be fair at least he’s an employee for the university. It’s not his fault the camera shows him 100x a game. I hate Taylor Swift but I know CBS shows her because it drives everyone nuts

At least he’s an alum and has been to 90% of games for 25 years. It’s not like he’s a T shirt fly by night fan
