50th is in 2 weeks. going to my uncles 80th surprise birthday party. we have had a golf tourney at pine dunes most recently for the past 46 years. 3 days, lot of great times. only graduates from our high school. mainly graduates from 70-74. i am the only 75 grad to play. play every september usually have 30-40 show up

my daughter teaches in northwest isd. good place. she is down the street from byron nelson hs. they have very impressive athletic facilities there. my family is several generations plano. my dad graduated in 50. 21 graduates. i graduated in 75, 650 graduates. my sister in 79, 2200 in her class. plano east opened the next year. even 6 man teams have great stadiums in west texas. blackwell, trent, and zephyr come to mind

was getting ready to go to daughters tennis tourney in wichita falls. lived in ennis texas. boom was very loud and the windows in the house rattled. was on the front porch watching the debris go across the sky. i called my relatives north of beaumont and told them to be on the lookout for stuff falling out of the sky.

can’t stand mm or anything texas longhorn. but, my son coached in the big 12 for several years. played in austin, i always was on the sideline during the games. teams went in from pregame and me and one of the chain crew were sitting on the bench drinking gatorade. a guy and 2 kids are walking towards us down the sideline. as they get closer the adult was mm. looked to have baby arms. when he walked by i said “what up trex? got no response however. chain guy spit out his gatorade.

aledo has been taking kids from all over for a long time. soc recruits heavier than anybody. duncanville is open enrollment. a lot of schools in the south side recruit. just the way it is.

i saw that video a few weeks ago. that is dallas bryant adam’s and ft worth trimble tech. both schools just about all white in 72. not now.

baylor used everybody against north carolina. i was on the sideline. had over 600 yards rushing if i remember. fun watching chizek trying to figure it out on the other side. about right before half he gave the call sheet to somebody else and that guy gave it to a GA in the 3rd quarter.

no loyalty to home town from kids around here. which is south side of dallas. oak cliff school is 15 minutes from us. stevie wonder could see what was going on there. duncanville coach went to lancaster after being forced out and brought in players. they were ruled ineligible last week. we have several get recruited especially by south oak cliff. don’t let the door hit you. we had a kid that lived in our district, played 2 years at neighboring schools, came to us, played a year and left for a school out of state. ended up at an sec school, don’t know or care if he is still on roster. it is the wild west

the kid that was allowed to cuss may have had tourettes? i had one as an AP in our school. as a football coach, we had a sped kid at RB. great kid, good athlete, couldn’t remember which way to go on plays. our OC had enough one day and when the kid busted another assignment our OC yelled “ get that special ed mother f….. of my field!” kid never busted another play.
