Young's heavy dependence on receivers making plays for him to boost his numbers is why he won't win the Heisman. Voters understand this.

Literally that what you want your QB to do, put the ball where the Wrs can make plays.

Bryce Young leads SEC in TD passes (3rd in nation)

Bryce Young is 2nd in the SEC in passing yards and completion percentage.

My man ain't having an average season' but again Corral is the front runner. Bryce is likely to finish Top 5/10 in TDs/ Passing Yards/ Completion percentage.

10 of those TD passes have come on throws that were thrown 5 yards or less downfield.

Bo Nix has more passing TDs on throws 20 yards downfield than Bryce Young.

Are Bama fans thinking Young is going to win the Heisman?

I’m not expecting it in the slightest. Barring some massive explosion in production, I would be mildly surprised with an invitation.

It's more threads about why Bryce Young not winning the Heisman than threads from Bama posters. Tell you truth I don't even recall thread started by a Bama saying Bryce would win the Heisman this season.

I get Ole Miss hyping Corral but seeing LSU posters starting threads about advance metrics is comical.

Unbated truth is Bryce Young has more Passing TD, Yards, better completion percentage with a head to head win. Stuff like that doesn't mean anything like if he throws 3 or 4 TDs against Tennessee but won't count "As" much.

The same stats can also be read another way.

If a QB places the ball in a better location or on better timing then receivers can usually make more yards after the catch.

I would surprise me if anyone did. Especially considering he isn't very good.

Honestly I don’t believe any player playing at a Mississippi University will win it either. Ever. Truth be told it is water cooler conversation. It is an individual award. Not a school or team award. Just not something most people care about. Especially considering the voters.

He'll need to really seperate himself to win it without being on a truly competitive team or with a real Heisman moment against a solid team

This is pretty damn accurate… think of Smitty last season. He was dominant, but always overshadowed by Waddle. Then the Tennessee game forward he seemed to be on a level above anyone.

Would have been interesting to see what occurred if Waddle hadn’t been injured, but that actually proved how important Smitty was to the team.

He's been great this year for his experience and our offense starting over around him, but he's not winning the Heisman (unless he blows things up down the stretch).

Bryce Young is absolute arse and it’s been a pleasure watching Tide fans realize that. The wee wittle fella can barely catch a snap because he’s so itty bitty

He is like a really talented game manager this year but I expect him to get better as he grows. We’re spoiled after watching Burrow in 2019 and Jones last year when talking about dynamic QB play. The fact there were two QBs that played that well in back to back years is not the norm.
