The last time you ran a coach out of town you had only Pope volunteer for the job.

Who would there be to replace Pope?

John Pelphrey that's who.

He had a helluva rookie year setting and tying some ranked win records so he probably deserves some leash.

NIL's short tenure has proven $$'s don't translate to wins and this team plays like they don't like each other.

If y'all wanna continue the former player angle, I'm sure John Pelphrey is available.

That's the thing Kentucky fans just do not get. No legit coach is going to be interested in a program that doesn't think Calipari is good enough for them. It's just unrealistic expectations that any coach that has options is going to steer clear of.

Collapsing and losing to a shitty Mizzou team, for the 1st time ever at Rupp?

They should fire him tonight.

This is silly.

Any reasonable program with expectations would put a coach on the hot seat if he performed the way Cal did his last 5 years at Kentucky.

He hadn’t made it passed the first weekend since before COVID. Y’all always conveniently ignore that.

Both can be true: Cal needed to go and Pope isn’t the answer.

Just laugh at these clowns knowing they hated Cal before he arrived. Bunch of turd eating at the University of Calapari these days.

Even good coaches can have bad/unlucky stretches. I understand he wasn't living up to Kentucky's expectations, but if you're going to run off a coach like Cal, you better do it when you already have his replacement figured out.

They thought they did, and was turned down until Pope said yes.

We deserved Pelphrey to be put on us at the time with the way Heath was handled.

Kentucky has yet to get what they deserve, but they will if they fire Pope after a sweet 16 run.

He was a weird hire from day1. No idea why Kentucky fans thought he’d be good

Our AD is horrible. This is the same guy that hired Gillispie.

The next step is to send Barnhardt packing. Already have a few from the board who have volunteered to get a Uhaul and help out.
