This is the one undeniable fact that they’re doing all they can do to avoid discussing. For that last decade, those dirty sons a bitches have been going on and on about how sorry we were for leaving the Big 12 for the SEC, about how overrated the SEC is, about how much the Big 12 was better without us.
And now these sorry sack of shits have the gall to bolt the Big 12 for the SEC without so much as a “sorry for all that shite we said. Y’all were right.”

TCU in Big 12 > A&M in Big 12 (on the field)
The Big 12 is going away for 1 reason only.. eyeballs
Texas & OU each had 3.2 million+ viewers on average for each game..
The other 8 averaged about 900k for each game.
Fox and/or ESPN weren’t going to pay for that anymore.. so we couldn’t stay in the Big 12.. therefore the options were B1G or SEC or PAC.
B1G wasn’t an option for Oklahoma
PAC games start too damn late..
ACC could have worked.
Texas, OU, Notre Dame, Clemson, FSU, Miami doesn’t suck..
but The SEC was best and I am happy to be here.

The rest of the SEC only think they know, but they have no idea of the hubris they are about to be subject to soon. The SWC is dead. The original Big XII is dead. The reformed Big XII (10 teams?) is just a husk, masquerading as a conference now. Soon to be dead. Poll former SWC or current Big XII members or the former Big 8 members who left the Big XII, and you will hear a common refrain. They know.

This really is what it’s all about. TU was pissed and jealous early on..they called Aggie every name in the book…then they did the exact same thing while trying to say they’re different and better.
