Simple biology also says he can be born intersexed af and have naturally occurring woman like level of hormones and even ovaries. It'd be one thing if everyone was born XX or XY, but that most certainly isn't the case.

Why stop at identifying as a woman? He should self-identify as a 12 year old and go clean up the Little League softball records.

But he wasn't. The vast majority of transexuals were not born XXY, and are not chemical hermaphrodites. There are cases when the biology is ambiguous, but those cases are very rare, and do not apply to most transsexuals.

At the very least, for someone who was born XY, they should have to demonstrate that they are true chemical hermaphrodites (not merely taking medicine to suppress testosterone) before they can compete in women's sports.

Simple biology

To be fair, biology is rarely "simple" - it is simplified for people who do not have the time or inclination to delve any deeper into the subject.

If we're being honest, this happens to a lot of fields to study that branch way beyond a layperson's understanding of it (medicine, technology, physics, chemistry, biology, etc).

As I doubt anyone here is a biologist or medical professional, we're not likely to get a true insight into the issue in a limited space like this.

As long as her hormones are in check and have been for enough time she doesn't have an advantage over biological women. That said, her pics look like a woman that's been juicing.

let's keep the dumb-frickery to a minimum, please.

Awesome news. Women created this monster,
Wrong. Progressive feminists created it. There have been women's sport for a very long time, but the fems pushed it to Title IX levels, so frick'em....just another one of those liberal, Progressive "conundrums" that they continually run head-long into and ain't got a clue what to do about it.

Has someone already asked why this is on this board?

Because it's the offseason and it's sports related. There are a million threads that are not specifically about SEC Football. Most, actually.

..and this is more interesting and important than 98% of the threads that are being started around here this time of year.

Exactly. Do we really need another "troll fanbase x" thread?

And just to prove the point that this matters to sports in general, and certainly for SEC sports...

A bill recently passed one chamber of congress that, if it ever actually become law, would REQUIRE all schools (public AND private, secondary and tertiary) to allow any students who identified as a woman to compete in women's sports and use women's facilities and live in women's dorms.

While the initial post is sports-related, it quickly devolved into non-sports related content regarding people's personal opinions on the nature of trans people.

In otherwords, it started on the correct board but now belongs on the Poliboard.

I wonder if colleges could get around this issue and start "female" teams and "female" leagues. The stupid postmodern critical theory shite that started in liberal arts colleges and has now infected our culture makes a big deal about the distinction between gender and sex, and claims that gender doesn't always match sex. Fine. Just start a league that is for the females, rather than for women.

Don't call it men's and women's sports. Call it XY and XX chromosome sports. Problem solved.

Proves that the only way to make women's sports watchable, is to add men
