Yeah and the GA old AI what was needed.
Moore had absolutely nothing to do with any single aspect of the “apology”

Saban did that last year. They even adjusted to account for it. Steele couldn't get the calls in fast enough and they had to use a defensive assistant to get the calls in.

Bahahahaha! Yeah, college football was all about academics right up until NIL.

This is genuinely the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. Are you fricking stupid?
Do you know much about leadership?
First there’s him spiking the guys head into the ground.
Then there’s him screaming at and disrespecting his coaches on national TV before refusing to come off the field.
And that’s a week after he tried to start a fight with UGA.
Is that what you look for in a captain setting an example for a very young team?
DeBoer is a brand new coach in a locker room full of alphas. If his 5th year captain doesn’t respect him or Wommack why should a freshman with a big NIL deal?
Bama didn’t make the run under Saban just due to talent. It’s because he made alpha 5* talent part of a cohesive unit subordinate to him. DeBoer can’t do that with Malachi acting like Tony Brown.

In fairness to Deboer, Saban really seemed to struggle with this his last couple of years too. It seems like most schools have more players chirping and celebrating than in year’s past.
I think it is just a symptom of the new “me first, me only” culture in college football.

Saban was much softer his last few years.
But there’s soft and there’s being publicly disrespected. When Mekhi Brown or whatever that morons name was went after a coach he was gone.
When a subordinate publicly challenges you and you don’t take action they're effectively no longer your subordinate because they’ve demonstrated you can be ignored. Not to mention you instantly lose the respect of anyone else who happens to be watching.
And people, particularly young alpha males, simply won’t follow someone they don’t respect.

This is why Saban allowed little access to the media and most of it went through him in the "one voice" policy. Something like this NEVER should have even been told to the media. This is an in-house issue.

It feels like Auburn is having this problem too. I've noticed numerous times our guys are barely aligned when the ball is snapped.

Is that Wommack's fault? Lot of teams dont show their hand until the helmet communications turn off. Gamesmanship....
Tell Moore to STFU

yall don't have an offense.
What? You don’t know football if that’s your take.
Bama has a top 10 FEI offense right now.

everyone else is just a bunch of average joes struggling to find a role.
Jam Miller - NFL
Tyler Booker - NFL
Proctor - NFL
Brailsford - NFL
At a minimum 6 guys from this offense will be early-mid rd NFL guys.
Bernard
Dippre
Law
Haynes
Roberts
Those 5 have a reasonable chance to be drafted as well at some point.
Saying there’s no talent on offense is a bad take.

The full comment is pretty reasonable. Of course, one line is being blown out of proportion here.
quote:
"I just think sometimes we get the call in a little late, so it gives us a little anxiety of not knowing what the offense is gonna run or adjusting to their formations," Moore, a fifth-year senior said. "But Coach Wo, that's kind of was his style of calling -- wanting to put us in a perfect position. He knows we're at Bama now, and he has a lot of pieces. He doesn't have to compensate for anything and as long as he gives us the call and allows us to get our feet in the dirt, we're gonna be great."
Moore said players "from the D-line all the way back to the secondary" have wanted to receive play calls sooner.
"We feel like if we just get the call in just a little bit quicker, it gives us time to line up and go with the man in front of us," he said.
However, Moore said the loss to Vanderbilt has brought the team closer together and "there's not a lot of pointing fingers going," and "everybody is kind of checking themselves -- what could I have done better, from coaches to players. I think that's important for everybody to take accountability and not trying to say it was his fault or his fault. We're all in this together, win or lose."
That extends to Wommack.
"Coach Wo, he's been doing a great job of coming in and taking accountability on his part," Moore said. "And the coaches and on the players, too, showing us how we didn't fit stuff right or what we messed up at. Also telling us the good we did do in the game. I think everybody, like I said, is being very accountable of what happened Saturday and definitely working very hard to never let it happen again."

Saban struggled because he's 125 years old, he never had a problem getting young men to listen to him or do what he said to do.
DeBoer has already lost the respect of everyone on that team, and will never get it back. Never. It's over, I'm calling it right now, DeBoer will not be the head coach at Alabama by the end of next year. Possibly this year.

DeBoer and any other head coach can and will only do what little they can. Times have changed my friend. These aren't the days of the "Junction Boys" anymore.

I'm not sure about fault, but I do think it's all a sign of how the game has been dumbed down.
