You are in full out denial. This is a slap in the face to domestic violence victims.

above is the link to the report - anyone who takes the time to actually read the findings... very, very bad for Meyer.

They continually state facts, and then "conclude" something entirely different.

Of course you think the suspension is fair.

What I said is this:

quote:

Think the suspension was completely fair, and I wouldn't have been mad if he had been suspended half the year for all the facts being out

So I think it's fine, but I wouldn't have thought it unfair to suspend him the whole year

He should have been fired. Earl Bruce gave Urban everything and Urban kind of felt this was his duty to do for his grandson. No excuse, that report was an embarrassment for Ohio State. On to Oregon State.

The problem is going to be very interesting for OSU. It has been clear since the Tressel days that the administration and the athletic department have zero control over Meyer, but this is not an NCAA issue, it is a #metoo issue and the feminists will be the ones who put pressure on the Prez and the BOT to do something. I think they will tell them (feminists) to go frick themselves. At least I hope they do and I am on OSU's side and hope Meyer stays, because screw those beotches. And screw the breathless media.

Will OSU hold strong against what will most likely be an assault on their program? We shall see.

I don't see an assault coming at all.

The biggest issues here aren't even DV anymore, they are "lying" about facts. The report said that Meyer told Smith "if you touch a woman you're gone" so I mean that seems 'good' for Meyer on that piece.

The issue, to me at least as I type this today, is keeping the guy on staff for so long with all the other smaller issues. When they add up it looks bad. Missed expense reports are a joke, but when you have that, strip club recruiting trips, drug addiction and DV accusations, it adds up to a lot of stuff where Meyer straight up did it for his mentor Earle Bruce.

I'm not sure that Meyer doing his usual "tough talk" on crimes against women and then not backing it up will sit well with the media. They love to stir shite up.

It makes me wonder how long is a coach, especially a HC, required to keep messages for NCAA compliance?

NCAA compliance is the least of CUM's issues in that case. He's considered a state government employee and FOIA requests and public records requests are in play here. That phone has state records on it and those can never be deleted without criminal repercussions.

I’m not wanting to defend Meyer, but there are too many high horses in the media.

Urban is an honest and Godly man. So much so that when he was at Florida, God came to him in a dream and told him that a recruit would be led by the spirit to be a Gator. He shared this dreamy revelation with said recruit and he was also instructed by God to share this story of divine intervention with the public so that they too might come to know The Lord.

Their fan base deserves all this attention and I hope for the buckeye nation the reporters investigate this for the next year.

Also I doubt College Game Day will be at any OSU games. I can imagine the signs people will be waving.

Here's some more about Zach...and Tom Herman:

COLUMBUS — Ohio State’s independent investigation revealed a potential NCAA violation for a recruiting visit that included a strip club visit for former assistant Zach Smith and a high school coach.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge have confirmed to Lettermen Row that the unnamed Ohio State assistant with Smith was the program’s former offensive coordinator and current Texas coach Tom Herman.
