They can fire him for any reason they want. If he committed fraud, they wouldn’t be paying $1. They’re paying him millions to fire him.

This tells me McElwain fricked up worse than anyone knows about.

Absolutely

If it is just 4 million I actually would be concerned on what really happen

Or they got proof shark pic is him

I would be scared to hire Mc if he settled for that

If Sexton didn't support for future business - that is fraud

So, you guys fricked your coach out of $8 million. And you think this will help you in your next round of contract negotiations?

Idiot, UF is not dumb. Sexton is not gonna commit fraud.

McElwain fricked up bad for this to happen.

Curious if Butters knows where he is going to land so makes buy out willingness greater

f it’s true, it’s probably an unconditional $4M regardless of McElwain’s future earnings.

That's what I was thinking, like Arkansas and Nutt.

It does appear he fricked up. He’s not taking 1/3 of his buyout because of press conference comments. You probably wear your name on your shirt at work.

They have scary shite on Mac if true

It must be something related to those credit fraud charges. He might have had prior knowledge and failed to report it or even worse tried to cover it up. Either that or the Gator AD has photos related to McElwain engaging in bestiality.

If this is true, hopefully the NCAA burrows (honey! How do you spell “buries”) Florida for whatever the real reason is.

So Florida fired a coach that won the East back to back and fricked him out of about ~60% of his buyout and somehow this helps future relationships with coaches?

Dude, winning the East is like winning homecoming King at a reformed school.

NO ONE gives a frick that he was the tallest midget. There hasn't been one game against a team with a pulse where this team had a chance of winning. NOT ONE frickING GAME. EVERYTIME he played a team with a pulse, he got boat raced. Stop the bullshite about winning the lousy SEC East. Every team in the East has been a fricking disaster.

Yep - him getting straight money regardless of future salary seems likely too. Maybe he has a good idea where he will land

Sexton apparently didn't fight too hard, because he didn't want to cut ties with UF and make their relationship salty.

It is. Neither Mac nor UF wanted the legal battle. If Mac didn't make it up, he would have got his full buyout guaranteed. Fired with cause. It is a thing. And clearly by the low end money buyout, He knows he broke that. Sexton is the best agent in CFB. He knows what he is doing.
