So absolutely worth a 1st round pick? cool.

He will do fine on a team that will have a huge pocket for him to throw in.
Thats probably not the NFL though

Maybe it’s just the atmosphere
He made plenty of on target deep throws during actual games. Yet he misses deep throws to uncovered receivers with no one rushing him. If anything it should be easier but he somehow went from being right on target to being off.

That's actually not a terrible comparison, but I dont think you think this is the shot it is against him. Dalton started for 9 years in NFL then almost a full 10th in Dallas with Dak's early season injury. He also made 3 pro bowls.
I'd say if Jones can get a decade of starting in NFL with a few pro bowls, that'd be pretty dang good. I dont think Mac is going to fool anyone into thinking he's the next big thing at QB in the NFL, but that's still a pretty good career if he has Andy Daltons.

So is he or isn't he going to the 49ers? It was just last week that they had him going late in the 1st Rd, now as of the other day the 49ers were said to trade up to pick him at #3? So what gives?

Daniel Jeremiah on NFL Network just indicated that he though Mac had a good day today. Thought he was even better today than the first pro day.

Maybe you got your bro bra on too tight. Restricted blood flow can cause confusion.

WTF are you babbling about?

What team does the state of Alabama have? Oh I forgot too poor.

Yeah but that’s his ceiling. If I had to put money on it, he’s a career clipboard holder.
I don’t see the point in wasting a first round pick on a QB that turns out to be Andy Dalton at best. Good enough to put up some stats but never actually win anything.

How is that confusing?
He missed some deep throws today. That’s the reason some people think he had a bad day. I’m saying is that you already know he can make those throws easily because he did them in tougher situations (game time) even though he didn’t do them now under no pressure. So maybe it’s just feel of the game time isn’t there today or just a little rusty.

Not fully sold on him as an upper-tier NFL starter. The hardest thing to scout/teach in the NFL is reading defenses. Could he be Brees or Brady? Sure but those guys excelled at the hardest and most important part of the position.
Its all a crapshoot in the end. Between Lawrence, Fields, Lance, and Wilson, at least 1 will probably be a bust and 1 maybe 2 will be true franchise guys

If people are legit expecting him to be a franchise Qb they are going to be disappointed.
You can say that with every single QB drafted and be right 99% of the time. It's a crap shoot once you get to the NFL. A ton of things need to break the QBs way that he has no control over.

Mac does a better job at that than anyone coming out this year. You clearly haven't watched him.

Which is why I’m not touching a QB with his talent level until the middle of the draft.

Who has a higher poverty percentage, Louisiana or Alabama?

Not good for either state, but it proves that your reasoning behind why there isn’t an NFL team in Alabama is incorrect.

Can’t afford it. Taco Casa can’t afford to sponsor a stadium.
