I just can't see him being a top draft pick like TLaw, Fields, etc (and yes I feel the same way about Trask).

I would take my chances on Trask over Jones.

Trask is NOT as good as Jones, no way. Once his best receivers went down, he looked very ordinary to bad in the bowl game.

On the big stage, with everything on the line. Devonta Smith in the tent, Jones kept right on hitting receivers. Not throwing it to guys with the wrong colored shirts like Trask.

Trask played hurt (remember his ankle on the last play of the SEC title game).
So NOW non playoff bowl games matter?

He had a chance to show what he could do .And he sure did. Lest you forget Jones was playing hurt in the national championship game or did you forget watching him limp around out there?

Trask threw some pitiful passes. Inexcusable.

In a bowl game that didn't matter according to Bama fans like yourself.

Anytime you walk on the field it matters. That game likely cost Trask big bucks. Stop making excuses.

Just taking a page out of your playbook. Those Sugar Bowls against OU and Utah didn't matter to you and Bammers.

They sure did. Those losses sucked, this is just crap coming from you. I can't speak for anyone else but you never saw me say they didn't matter ALL losses matter, some more then others.

Indeed I can only think of ONE loss that I said in the big picture ended up not mattering, and I warned the
Barners on here this would be the case. It hurt yes, but at the end of the day it was a hollow victory for Auburn and I tried to tell you all it was coming.

That would be the 2017 Iron Bowl. You never see any TShirts or anything crowing about that one...why is that?

I'm one and you're dead wrong. How does losing to Alabama feel? UF does it quite a bit.

Hopefully he doesn't get picked to that cesspool.

Oh, one of the most well-run and competitive franchises in football is a cesspool? I can't imagine what the other teams are like.

Maybe he'll be good enough to play in the Spring league.

Bama fans get mad when I say it but..I have a lot of doubts on him. He was behind the best Oline. Had the WRs. Had the best RB.

Very easy to look good. He had all day to throw. His pocket window was absurdly clean all year. Play action was always effective. It doesn't mean he isn't a decent QB..but I do not think once talent level is more even he will shine.

You mean like in the natty when Smith, Metchie, and Waddle were out and he still drove the field with the backups to put the game away. The kids a baller. You will see.

Yeah, Burrow had a bunch of Div III talent around him in 2019. This observation has to be one of the dumbest ones that keeps being repeated. Clemson, Ohio St, Georgia...no talent. Apparently it's all in Tuscaloosa lol.

BTW...I watched the Pro Day today on tv...Mac looked very good.
