Why, if you can opt out for a year and not play then playing some will not hurt your stock.

Those guys should all be back. Won't be another press conference to announce intentions.

Good luck to those young men. They certainly had a legendary season at Bama. Good luck to them!

Has Devanta Smith Decided to return for his 8th year? He has a lot to prove.

It would be cruel and unusual punishment to college defenses for him to return.
But taking the question seriously: He was the best pure receiver of the bunch that came in the 2017 recruiting class and he's only honed his craft over his 4 years. The only reason I can think of him returning is to make a push for 2k yards and 30 TDs en route to winning a 2nd Heisman.
He's going pro and there is a good chance he get passed over for players who do a nicer combine. Wouldn't be surprised if he dominated if he happened to fall to a team that has a QB that can deliver him the ball.

Jesus Christ it was a joke Jatebe lighten up.
And also, quit creating a fake narrative that LSU fans don’t like Smith. No shite they would have rather him go to LSU. However, most LSU fans have been rather neutral because smith and his family didn’t handle the recruitment to Bama as a lingering drama series like Dylan Moses and Landon Collins.

Either way, it's going to take a hell of a lot bigger sign welcoming travelers to Amite, LA, Home Of 2020 Heisman Winner, DeVonta Smith.

bama down year incoming (10-2)
After what many ESPN analysts are calling the GOAT season for any team in CFB, I predict that Bama goes 5-5.. Maybe even the new laughing stock of CFB..

Where do you think Mac Jones, Waddle and Smith end up in the draft? Will Smith be the first WR off the board?
