Mond set a record too.

He's the only A&M starting QB to go 0-4 vs. a single opponent.

It's like we have gone full-on Oakland Raiders vertical passing game.

I'm sure we had some slants against the Aggies but if so, I must've missed them. They certainly weren't featured like in recent years.

Threw a pic that would've been a pic six if not for Najee Harriss' speed. Najee's effort was all for not as aTm scored on that drive. Even so, he has surpassed my expectations through two weeks. Very impressed with his deep throws.

At least he didn’t pass for 600 yards

Yeah, but it wasn't because he made a bad throw. It was because nobody blocked a rusher and he tipped the pass up in the air when Mac tried to unload it fast.

He had a 138.4. Where did you see 250.9?

That interception wasn't on Mac to be truthful. Nonetheless, Mac owes Najee a big steak dinner. Otherwise, Mac was on fire. Looks to be the best QB in the country right now. That is no bullshite.

Different sources have different ratings but I found this...

Last week against Missouri, which was No. 15 in total defense in 2019, Jones was 18 of 24 for 249 yards and two touchdowns and avoided being sacked. He posted a 95.2 Total Quarterback Rating (QBR), the highest of any signal-caller during Week 3.

In terms of passer rating, which the NCAA uses to determined its annual passing champion, he scored 189.65.

Jones topped that at 250.9 against Texas A&M.

Who made the bad of decision of throwing the ball with a man in the passing lane?

If he hadn't thrown it he would have been sacked for -10 yards and everyone would be pointing that out. Of the options, he chose correctly. Sometimes shite just happens.

Uh, no. You always take a sack instead of throwing blindly into the field of play.

Well, I can live with one bad decision per game. And he played great, just to be clear. Sometimes it is better to just eat a sack than try and force a ball. With superior receivers and his beautiful long ball, getting behind the chains is not as much of a big deal as most teams. And worse things can happen than a punt.

He didn't throw blindly into the field of play. A rusher tipped a ball. It happens all the time.
