We still await the disaster you have promised. No one claims he will lead them to the Super Bowl in Year One but the playoffs are a realistic possibility.

As for you...

So you’ve moved it back from 20 yard throws to 25 yard throws....mmmkay

I was watching TV this morning and they showed a chart with Brady's 1st year stats (2001?) and Mac's '21 stats and talking about how unbelievably similar they are!....interesting!..

true stat. Dink and Dunk results. High percentage passes and intermediate yardage success. Thanks to the Pats D it has worked because they do not let the team get behind by much. When they actually play a good team, that will not work. The Pats have played on of the easiest schedules in the NFL.

No, that is a stat I have posted all year. Again I have seen those 5 yard passes go for 20 yards and still realize they are 5 yard passes.

Unfreakingbeliebable that an offensive coordinator would call a screen pass that may go 20 yards. These plays should be outlawed by the NFL.

For most teams it is not their bread and butter.

Unless he heaves 50-50 balls into the end zone every play, nothing he does counts.

OK, this is for completions that go for more than 20 yards, not passes which travel 20 yards.

yep. if you want the various air yard stats and yac stats, here they are for mac, burrow, brady, and mahomes

mac jones
IAY/PA 7.5
CAY/CMP 5.4
CAY/PA 3.8
YAC 1410
YAC/CMP 5.3

Joe Burrow
IAY/PA 8.0
CAY/CMP 6.1
CAY/PA 4.2
YAC 1411
YAC/CMP 6.0

Tom Brady
IAY/PA 8.1
CAY/CMP 5.6
CAY/PA 3.8
YAC 1680
YAC/CMP 5.4

Patrick Mahomes
IAY/PA 7.6
CAY/CMP 4.9
CAY/PA 3.2
YAC 1756
YAC/CMP 6.0

whats interesting is burrow, brady, mahomes all are getting more of their yardage as YAC than Mac is both as a total and per completion, and Mahomes who has maybe the biggest arm in football is behind Mac in almost all of these metrics.

LINK

another interesting stat, mac jones has been blitzed the most of any QB, tied at 120 with Lamar Jackson, and has been hit 8th most, 35 times

You don't know much about football do you? I understand you may be a little behind, being an AU fan and all. But throwing into double coverage 30-40 yards downfield when a qb instead can dump it down to a crosser that may take a 5 yard pass and go 20 will get a qb benched quicker than you jumping into a Mac Jones thread.

But only 4 over 25 yards. It is a result of passing the ball 5 yards and the Receiver running the rest. A fricked up stat.
i mean, he threw at least 2 longer than 25 in the air yesterday, so not sure how that stat could magically stay at 4, which you have been saying for weeks now. maybe link where you are getting that.

Where does the Patriots receiving corp rank? Can't know for sure but I would say that their receivers may not be making the catches that a more talented group makes.

Kendrick Bourne is a nice player, and they have two good tight ends.

Mac is playing way beyond his years. Full command of the offense and ALREADY passed the number of touchdowns “he she” threw for last year
