All Cincy has left to do is provide Burrow with a bit better online and they will be superbowl contenders.

You are going to have to go game by game and look it up. Keep in mind at least three of the 25 yards or longer passes were thrown by Hoyer or a WR with a trick play.

The fact that you go through game by game stats to find any tidbit of info to come discredit a player is really sad.

lol. same can be said when someone cherry picks an air yards stat trying to make it look like mac jones only dinks and dunks, when his stats are comparable to or better than the 2 qbs who played in the superbowl last year in that regard

No, most of the games were televised and when the Cult came on each week to brag about Jones I would look at those stats. It has turned into a weekly ritual and now the Cult searches me out.

Irons Puppet was right.

Just re-watched ALL the games. The only 4 completions I could find with 25+ air yards:

2:19 in 4th Qtr vs Dallas
9:56 in 4th Qtr vs New York Jets
9:39 in 1st Qtr vs LA Chargers
5:03 in 2nd Qtr vs Titans

The man knows his stuff!

The cult doesn't search you out because you are in every thread that has Mac Jones mentioned. I guess that means you just want the attention. Got to get it from somewhere.

yeah, but where are you looking at them? if you are saying you are going through the espn stats on the game, air yards are not in there, and on the play by play it only lists the completion yardage, not how far it went in the air. What you are saying doesnt make any sense, nor does that fact that the number you are throwing around hasnt changed in weeks, despite passes ive watched go more than 25 yards in the air past the LOS in recent games. There was one at 5:01 in the 2nd quarter against the Titans, 1st and 20 from the NE 36, mac threw it from the NE 26, ball was caught at the Ten 30. if you say air yards are vertical yards in the air past LOS, thats a 34 yarder, but for some reason it didnt increment your number. I think that you are lying about following this and are just mindlessly repeating something you heard or read somewhere.

Correct, so a pass that goes 5 yards in the air and is ran for 25+ yards I wasn't giving him credit it for it.

question, why 25 yards instead of the pretty universal definition of a deep pass being 20 yards past LOS?

Why 20 ? Weak arm QBs can throw the ball 20 yards and if you watch defenses the Safeties line up a little less than 20 yards back, so the weak arms will try and throw somewhere in that yardage mark as the Safeties back peddle.
