Burden was all that the year before, so where is the rationale for his big dropoff? Burden alone should be an NFL burden due to the lack of productivity. Same QB and scheme. Some kids get their money and mail it in. Scouts, for the most part, know what they're watching.

Blame your inability to comprehend what you read, on another person? OK

You know. The team that LSU doesn't have a winning record over?

I guess that's a narrative.
I think he cost himself far more with some stupid penalties and tirades, including setting up 2nd and 59.

Agree with the notion that NIL is ruining some of these guys. Paid before putting in their dues. That's all of society today, though.

He was paid before the prior 2 years as well so that narritive is just not true. THe scheme and QB may have been the sm]ame OC and QB but watching every play this year the playcalling was arse all year. Cook regressed as a passer and ciuld not hit shite on deep passes all year. Cookk was gritty and played hard but struggled all year passing.

Largely due to the fact he played through several different injuries that should have put him on the sideline

Burden's trajectory reminds me a lot of Kayshon Boutte's TBH

Now he's barely on the team. He played himself along with the other kid that went to Maryland.

Would have been a first-round pick being developed at a place like LSU.

Kiren Lacy really developed at LSU.

7 catches for 82 yards is hardly "disappeared." Facts are your friend.
