I’d say both the fan and player were lucky because the player would’ve gotten arrested for battery while the fan would’ve been hurt much worse

Most schools, including LSU, provides clear security for teams to leave the field in case of fans rushing the field. Kentucky did not.

At some point netting or something is going to have to be put up to keep this from happening. There’s not enough security to keep 20k people from storming a field. This has happened with a lot of CFB teams.

Being drunk idiots who act first and think second is part of what made this country great. And I don't say that ironically. Someone gets hurt? Who cares? Everyone knows that's a possibility going in. This is a sport where people are TRYING to hurt each other. Don't want to get hurt? Don't play the game. Don't go down on the field. And live to a ripe old age having done nothing that makes you look back and smile.
