Last I checked, a win is a win

Doesn't matter if it's by 50 or 1, LSU still got the W

How bad did they blowout LSU who played without their All-SEC point guard?

As for South Carolina. I was at the LSU-USC game. I think LSU was up 35 at one point.

If LSU beats Vandy they will have beaten all 14 SEC teams (counting the games LSU beat themselves).

The fact that we are top of the conference really rattled folks more than I thought it would. It is quite impressive.

When they say "In the SEC, it just means more", it doesn't mean you have to write a book-length melt.

Regardless, thanks for making LSU's SEC title "more" enjoyable. Have an upvote.

When they press, the other team always breaks it for a easy dunk.

Earlier in the season, we were playing from behind A LOT. In most of those cases, it was our press that sparked comebacks in those games.

Defense needs to tighten up as it has for stretches this year I'll give you that. But some of that leaving shooters open at the 3 is by design. In college I'll take giving up 3 attempts if you keep teams out of the paint. The not putting teams away and letting teams hang around can be directly attributed to playing 4 true freshmen 1 first year juco player and 1 sophomore in our 8 man rotation. That is 6/8 players with minimal experience. There was always gonna be growing pains. The part about the press is just complete nonsense, the diamond press has been effective for most of the year and at times it was completely devastating teams. There was a point that the analyst on the SEC network were talking about it every time we came up like it was our primary defense. Wade has been very successful with inbound plays and he doesn't over coach calling a ton of unnecessary timeouts. That has been huge for us. He doesn't call the usual timeout when you need a bucket to tie or take the lead in the closing seconds. He has let us play it out without the other team getting to set its defense and it has paid off. He lets his superior athletes play without confining them with a rigid system. That's how I want a talented team to play, not running the Princeton offense or some other system designed for less talented players that looks fancy. Have we been dominant every game no but you are what your record says you are.
