This is exciting news. At least 21 points and only the second game of the year!

its almost impossible for that offense to score 3 TDs, so I cant see lsu winning by that much. I do think the tigers win, however.

LSU should beat them big, but they won't. It's not in Les' DNA.

They're staring at 7 or 8 wins max this year. How long does Gus get before the fans turn on him? Auburn isn't Arkansas or UT where 7 to 9 wins are earning parades. I think he leaves by 2017.

Your defeats at our hands have really ruined you, haven't they?

This was a difficult game prior to our offensive struggles. I certainly expect Auburn to play better. The line opened over the summer as LSU -4, it is now -6.5

You and all who agree should bet as much as possible on LSU.

Gus' teams always start slow in September and get better from an offensive standpoint. (Defense failed us last year).

The bigger game for Auburn is MSU at home. Need to start out 4-1.

A Florida fan should worry about his own shite team winning more than 7 or 8 games and not losing to LSU by 3 touchdowns plus

If AU plays like they did last week, you are right.

That's the tell-tale sign of a "gimmick" offense, it works very well under a specific set of circumstances but if one thing goes wrong, it falls completely apart.

So how would you describe LSU's offense? Just a such a disaster it's impossible to even pin it on "one thing going wrong"?

Wouldn't you?

Don't get me wrong, Randy....I don't consider your offense a gimmick offense. And I think Malzahn gets it untracked at some point during the season. But to your question, I would pin LSU offensive woes on QB play and play calling having the wrong personel on the field and in general poor decision making. In short, mainly poor offensive coaching.

I mean...last year giving Fournette the ball 6 times against Arkansas? (Just one example)

I'm sure they'll be passing out lessons Saturday frickstick. Make sure you're in BR to see it.

Pre-season I figured Auburn to be one of the top teams in the West, mainly because Malzahn has been a wizard at finding QBs who could maximize offensive production; also, because Lawson was coming back and Boom was a great DC hire.

So far, J Johnson is looking more like J Jefferson, but there's always the possibility that Gus can get the kid's head straightened out. If LSU wants to destroy his psyche before we have to face Auburn on Halloween, fine by me.

Auburn in the game this will likely be a 10 pt or so Tiger victory.

Yep I agree. It is an SEC game and Auburn will be up for this game. 28-17, 24-14 something like that.

Someone gets it.

Harris will have around 60 yards passing by the end of the first quarter, which is a ton for LSU, and it's going to look like the Bengal Tigers will roll.

In the end, Harris will have around 120 yards passing and it will come down to the final drive. Book it.

This is true and false. Gus has shown that he can have a very productive offense without a running qb. But with the plays that we have been running this is true you cannot run a read option with no option. I don't know what we are trying to accomplish.

No way. If we get up by more than a TD, Les will shite the offense down.

No was we score more than 31

All of you are wrong. LSU by 4 and they don't cover.

Auburn a heavy underdog will ride the ground game and good D with poor LSU playcalling and execution to a 14 point lead going into the fourth quarter. LSU returns 2 Jeremy Johnson Interceptions for a TD and trails by 3 with just two minutes to play. Knowing a final first down will probably mean the game Gus outsmarts himself and calls a first down pass which JJ tosses into triple coverage and is returned for the 3rd Pick 6 of the 4th quarter. The game ends as Johnson throws yet another pick and LSU runs out the clock.
