1. Auburn as a whole has struggled against lesser opponents in Louisville and JSU.
2. Jeremy Johnson is closer to Keihl Frazier than Cam Newton.
3. LF7 and Dwill will run over, around and through AUs atrocious defense leaving their average dbs alone against the 2nd best WR group in the SEC. Brandon Harris will throw at least for 200 yards and 2 TDs
4. Malzahn has struggled to adapt his offense to his personnel currently making it easier to plan for. It will be harder for AU to comeback because JJ isn't athletic as Marshall and his legs scare no one.

5. LSU wins big 52-13.

No way LSU wins by that big a margin, if the Tigers get 35 points Les will punt on first down.

This is an important point I made on Saturday. The whole scheme is predicated on the QB being a very real threat to take off with the ball or keep it by design. When the QB is not a threat to run with the ball, the entire thing falls apart.

That's the tell-tale sign of a "gimmick" offense, it works very well under a specific set of circumstances but if one thing goes wrong, it falls completely apart.

Not going to call it a gimmick but the mobility of the QB is what makes that offense so hard to defend. If the QB is no threat to run its just your skill players verses ours and the DC doesn't have to account for 3 or four threats. Now it's just like planning for any other offense.

Thats like saying a offense that fails because the QB can not pass is a gimmick offense

I honestly have a feeling Auburn will win this one. It's strange but something like that always happens to pull their fan base off the ledge.

Go back and look at the numbers Gus put up with Chris Todd as the QB.

Unless JJ has some kind of epiphany on running this offense much better and developing Nick Marshal like quickness I do not see how it's likely. They're Auburn so it's not like they don't have any talent but they're thin on defense still and they're offense has not established any kind of rhythm passing or running. Unless LM goes full retard and passes more than 20 times and BH loses his mind and throws several picks keeping Auburn in the game this will likely be a 10 pt or so Tiger victory.
