Actually miss that side of Cohen. I don't miss his constant lineup shuffling, slap stick hitting and bunting in the 1st inning though. He's done a pretty good job as an AD.

I think LSU (44 RPI) needs to win today, and they're probably safe at that point. If LSU loses, it's really dicey and will depend on how many bids are stolen everywhere else.
Pros for LSU:
Series wins against Texas and Arkansas
12 wins vs. RPI Top 50
One sub-100 loss
20th-ranked SOS
Won 15 in the SEC, two more than Texas A&M and Kentucky.
Cons:
No road series wins
Just four wins away from home.

Honestly I really don't even care if lsu makes the tournament. Usually at this point we are at least in the talks of being a team who could win it all.
This LSU teams has little chance of even advancing out of a regional. Make the tournament....dont make the tournament....it hardly even matters to me.
Almost just ready for this subpar season to be over.

Our young players, and we have a lot of them, would greatly benefit from post season experience. Sure the season has been frustrating, but I will never get to a point where I don't care if we make the postseason or not

It's not dumb, it just an honest opinion. Obviously the players themselves should be striving to continue the season.
