It is comforting to know that even when the team is doing good LSU fans will find something to bitch about

“We are disappointed that our game against Southern Miss has been selected as a daytime kickoff at home,” Byrne said in a statement. “We realize we’ve played more non-conference day games at home in September than any other SEC team since 2014. There have been a number of conversations with our conference office, and they also recognize the challenges these kick times present for our student-athletes and fans.”

Just to clarify, I didn't write this. The AD of a team who has been pretty good lately did.

I need to look up the last time LSU played back to back 11AM games in a season, though. I bet that's never happened. Maybe 2005 since we ended playing App St. at like 9:30AM that year.

Saban complained about the 100 degree heat for morning games. Like none of the other SEC teams have 100 degree heat in the morning

Utah State? When does LSU play somebody other than the schools for the blind and deaf?

Of course, it's not a coincidence. But if we're spitting in the eyes of tradition, then we need to do it across the whole conference.

If LSU has to play a non-Power 5 home game at night, it's time for Alabama-Tennessee and Auburn-Georgia to cease being annual games. And it's time for Mississippi State's cowbells to be banned permanently.

Oh boo fricking hoo. You are having to play ONE, count it, ONE non-Power 5 home game during the day for the first time in FIVE years.

Jesus Christ, y'all are some fricking babies.

But let's cancel the Auburn-Georgia and Alabama-Tennessee series permanently because LSU has to play Utah fricking State during the day in October of 2019.

How many home games did LSU host, in 100 degree heat, in the morning so far this season?

Duck, LSU conspiracy theorists in 3...2...1...

It isn’t a “conspiracy” if the SEC office in Birmingham, fully staffed by Alabama graduates, is actually fricking LSU openly. And this doesn’t even address the SEC refs controlled by Steve Shaw and Ritter. Why all LUSer fans saw that total fabricated targeting call in the Vandy game that was ordered up by Saban. Why does Alabama get away with this?...

....BECAUSE WE RUN THIS CONFERENCE AND YOU JUST BEND OVER AND DO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD... and if you don’t like it, take your sorry, whining, excuse filled arse to the big XII. Texas would love to “help you understand...” over there.

How exactly are they "openly fricking" LSU? By making them do something every other team in the SEC has done multiple times in the last 5 years?

Saban didn't, the AD did.

They were pointing out Alabama had somewhere around 25 11AM games in September the last 6 or so years to LSU's 4 or 5.

LSU use to call their shot on night games because it was their "tradition."
That now ends..,as I predicted 2 weeks ago when Bama's AD complained.

Im sure you will advocate on our behalf to change our permanent opponent to our traditional east opponent of Kentucky. For traditions sake.

Bama:

Duke, NMSU, USCe, S Miss, Ole Miss, Bye, AtM, Tenn, Ark, Bye, LSU, State, WCU, Auburn

LSU:

Ga South, TX, NW St, Vandy, Bye, Utah St, Fla, State, Aub, Bye, Bama, Ole Miss, Ark, AtM

LSU's stretch of Fla, State, Aub, Bama is pretty rough. Bama has nothing like that all. Their stretch of 3 bye weeks before the LSU game is horrible (tries to keep a straight face saying that last part).

You're scared of Florida?

But I'll bite. Fine. We'll petition the SEC to change your cross division permanent opponent to Kentucky.

We'll also elevate Mississippi State to the Big 6 and demote LSU because no one wants a pussy in our top group who is afraid to play someone else.

I like playing Florida. I'd like it better if we won a few more of the close ones though. Good rivalry game.

I agree.

It's a marquee game in the conference every single year. It brings a huge spotlight to both LSU and Florida and gives each a chance to host dozens of recruits in a big game environment.

But hey, see if you can replicate that by switching to a permanent game with Kentucky.

OMG...Lookie here... a “schedules” themed post by another LUSer. Who would have guessed that the LUSer fans would be all bothered by the LSU schedule that the SEC office in Birmingham, completely staffed by Alabama sidewalk fans (all LUSers know there aren’t any Alabama fans that really went to college there) dictated.

Why I’ll bet that some LSUer will come on here shortly and whine about having to play Florida while Alabama gets to play Tennessee ...

Never mind that Tennessee has a much better historical record against Alabama then does LSU.
