Auburn astronauts have put stuff on the Space Station. Unconfirmed rumor is there is an Auburn flag on the Moon courtesy of Ken Mattingly. I think all astronauts smuggle a few things to have and give as keepsakes to their schools and museums. Hell, Alan Shepherd hid a golf club in his suit.

Thanks for the confirmation. I wasn't sure if my memory was failing or not.

It’s disquieting how so many LSU fans’ minds incessantly go to homosexuality, regardless of the topic.

Right. It's just LSU.

Not a rumor. Several flags were made of silk, one was left, the rest came back. I've seen one. It was hung on my buddy's wall. His dad designed them.

Damn rocket scientists don't know the difference in "your" and "you're."

This will be the first time the U.S. lands on the Moon since 1972 and the Apollo program.

Which means Montana State is currently sitting with 5 Saturn iv-b lead over y'all. 3rd stage of the Saturn V was chief engineered by a Montana State grad. 5 of them are on the moon now. Makes up almost a third of the man-made lunar debris, by mass. It was also the first space station, skylab. Montana State > LSU

Sorry LSU, but that would be MIT with the Apollo program. The MIT Instrumentation Laboratory developed the Apollo guidance computer which was the worlds first silicon based integrated circuit computer.

People's lack of knowledge with regards to history is amazing.
