I had doubts about his shot selection entering the league, but he sure can heat up when given the chance to play. 44 and 47 the past two games.
Golfer was wrong again.

I was just joking since LSU is all fired up about women’s basketball.
Aren’t you the alter to that kansas troll? Seems I remember that being figured out, dipshit.

Cam could always score, but did he ever learn to play defense?

I don’t think I’ll ever encounter another poster who claims to ignore me yet still be so obsessed with me.
I hate to parrot bowljackson, but you really do put the sad in Arkansad.

He’s definitely one of my favorite LSU basketball players. My mom and I used to joke that he never saw a shot he didn’t think he could not make. Glad to hear he’s doing well in the NBA.

That’s not the question. The question is did he ever WANT to play defense?? Judging from comments from Jacques Vaughn, the answer is sadly still no.

He's only just recently started playing more with Irving leaving, but his efficiency has taken a huge jump from his rookie season last year to this year. FG% has gone from 43.3 to 47.0 and his 3pt% has gone from 27.0 to 43.9. And his PER has gone from 11.7 to 15.9. We'll see what he does with his new opportunity and increased playing time.

He’s also 11/16 from 3 the last 2 games. Red hot

Among shooting guards in the NBA, his defensive rating is middle of the road, so not terrible. For comparison, his defensive rating is the same as Seth Curry this year.

One of those absurdly unreliable stats that people love to rely on. You can play great defense and a guy can make an extremely difficult, contested shot. You can lose a guy and he misses a wide open, uncontested look. For a guy who can score like Cam to have 17 DNPs while healthy tells you all you need to know about his defense regardless of what the stats say.
