Murphy will be coming back form injury so he should get some action but I imagine Ford will see most.

We'll see. Ford is supposed to be quite the talent, but we have two relatively experienced running backs returning in Richard Murphy and Stevan Ridley. Murphy is more of a speed back, so I expect him and Ford to get the bulk of the carries.

You know about as well as us

It's a battle in the Spring between

Murphy (my favorite to win it if he has fully recovered)
Ridley ( Pretty good in his own right and with the injury to Murphy I give him the edge for the Spring )
Ford
Calhoun( probably not)

then in the Fall

Ware joins the mix, and I think Gore will redshirt.

However Frank Wilson is now calling all RB rotations and he likes multiple backs so my guess would be

Murphy + Ridley

with Ford getting a good bit of carries

I think that's why they weren't bent out of shape over losing Lache to Oregon.

Besides, Ware is a better back for their system IMO

That and we already have a back with sick speed

and he could one day throw the ball for once

Another sign that Miles isn't the brightest crayon in the box: not running the wildcat with Shep.

With some proper coaching, I still think he could be a sick QB. You aren't the consenus #1 dual threat qb in the country just because you're fast.

I thought FW was going to cut down on using 4 RB's a game.

Murphy seems like a 3rd down back for us. He works as a good receiver out of the backfield.

I think it will be between Ford and Ridley for most the carries.

I'm more excited about Ware and Worle next year though.

You should stick to following Aub football, genius. RS ran a number of direct snap plays in '09.

Anyone know what Frank Wilson prefers as far as how many RBs get carries in a game? I've heard that he wants to have one primary back, but i've also heard that he will do RB by committee.
